Weekly Group Runs

Tuesday

Meet BARCer Dennis Malloy at the track at Clear Creek High School (2451 East Main St, League City 77573).  There are two track workouts, the first starting at 5:30 pm and the second at 6:30 pm.

*Feb 7 - 16X200m with 100m recovery (walk)

*Feb 14 - 12X400m@5K pace with 200m recovery

*Feb 21 - 4X(400, 300, 200, 100) recoveries vary

*Feb 28 - 16X200m - 5K pace with 200m recoveries at marathon pace

**Please remember to bring your own hydration to the track workouts!!!


Thursday

Kemah Bridge repeats starting at between 5 and 6 am, with some starting as early as 4 am.  Park at the Ichibon's parking lot.  Reflective gear is highly recommended. Run one to three loops over the bridge.  Always run the bridge facing traffic on the shoulder and never run across 146 (go under the bridge to get to the other side).  Each loop is 1.95 miles.  Bring your hydration and take some light to be on the safe side.  The street lights on the Kemah bridge are on, lighting is adequate. 


Sunday

Meet at 6:30 am at the swimming pool at Miramar Park in Seabrook (1109 Hammer) to run the Seabrook Trails.
