BARC Meeting:  The next BARC meeting will be on Monday, 5/13/13 at On The Run

BARC Cross-Training - Salsa Dancing Class!:  Join BARC for a Salsa Dancing Class held by the Latin Dance Factory on Wednesday, May 15th at Club Cabo (2513 NASA Parkway, Seabrook, behind Classic Cafe). Drinks and stretching starts at 6 pm, followed by the Salsa dance class from 7-8:30 pm, plus a practice afterwards from 8:30-9pm. This class is designed for "two left feet" people with limited or no dancing experience, but experienced people are welcome. Cost is $15/person (Pay here for single Registration) or $25/couple (Pay here for couple registration) prepaid by May 8th. Sign up now to get this low price, otherwise, cost will be $2o/person or $40/couple at the door. You don't need to have a partner ahead of time to take the class, but it is cheaper to sign up as a couple (couples do not need to be spouses or significant others) . We will actually be rotating partners during class. Although you may love your running shoes, we recommend leaving those at home and instead that men wear dress shoes and ladies wear low heeled shoes. Facebook event invite is here. Save the Date:   BARC's annual "predict your time/pay your dues" 5k is Saturday June 8th! If you've never run this before, it's a blast! The race entry fee doubles as your annual BARC dues. Bring the whole family. More details to come!
